The annual Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) is one of the largest national tradeshows in the fire and rescue industry. The FDIC Conference provides training for firefighters, including "HOT" (Hands-on-Training) sessions. It provides a forum where instructors can train firefighters, learn from each other, and discover new products and services that help save lives. FDIC takes place in the Indiana Convention Center & RCA Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana. FDIC was founded in 1929 and today hosts 25,000 attendees.
